Choosing a caffeine-free herbal tea
To choose an infusion, start with its ingredients and format: a single herb, plain rooibos or a blend of several ingredients. Each product page lists the plants and the brewing guidance for that particular product.
A single herb or a blend?
Plain rooibos, chamomile and verbena let you explore one ingredient at a time. Blends combine several herbs or spices: compare their ingredients rather than relying only on the product name.
Loose herbs, bags and ingredients
Loose herbs let you adjust the amount to your cup and require a suitable filter. Tea bags are already portioned. For the quantity, temperature and steeping time, follow each product page rather than using one time for every herb.
No tea leaves does not always mean no caffeine: cocoa contains it naturally. For cocoa blends, including Douceur du Soir, the absence of tea therefore does not guarantee zero caffeine. The exact caffeine content of this infusion is not documented here.
